If you live in Austin or plan to be there Saturday night, please stop by Dominican Joe from 7-10pm and help support our educational programs in the DR!  As part of a Makarios fundraiser, we’ll be selling hand-made items from the DR along with other things that make great Christmas gifts.  By purchasing these items, you’re helping us provide education, food, and medical care to kids in need.   We’ll have live music and former Mak staff and interns signing autographs.  :)   Oh, and Byron says he’ll do a little Christmas salsa dancing for us.
