We had a dentist visiting from the States to check out the kids’ teeth and pull any if infected. Roughly 50 were extracted.

One such kid, Jesmarco, was none too happy about getting his teeth pulled. So they called in the cavalry…

Cavalry however, ride horses and have poor experience in the field of dentistry, so in I went (NOTE: What I lack in dental expertise, I make up for in five younger siblings’ worth of wrestling people down against their will).

The nurse held his head, I had the arms and torso, and another kid kept his legs down; three on one (not including the dentist). The nurse even had to pinch his nose to get him to open his mouth!

Because I held the arms, that meant I had a de facto front row seat. Steve had a variety of unholy tools at his disposal to get those suckers out. In went the pliers, out went the teeth. It was like a miniature crime scene in this kid’s mouth by the time Steve was done.

Did someone say crime scene?

Did someone say crime scene?

Also, this is my first post, so here’s a quick intro. My name is Riley and I’m helping Garrett with the construction projects going on. I’m two months into a six month stint…greetings!
