Let me introduce you to Elijio. He stole my heart the very first day (…I might say that about all the kids…BUT it is true every time I say it). :)
Elijio was one of our “criers” on the first day. He tried so hard to participate but just couldn’t seem to shake the tears. He would be sitting there with that bottom lip quivering, trying so hard to “pull it together” for class. His teacher, Profe Kim, did such a great job at working with him. I’m happy to report that we can no longer call him one of our criers! I love seeing that little boy’s smiling face!
