First week of school down, and everything went wonderfully. We started Monday, 9-1:30 as usual, and finished our first week today because tomorrow is a Dominican holiday. The kids start each day by lining up in front of the school to sing praise songs, pray, and go to breakfast. The kindergarteners and first graders before they go eat have a Bible story read to them. After this, each teacher made up their own schedule for their class during training, containing Phonics, Math, Centers, Bible, and more to do throughout the school day. So far, so good! The students are loving their new teachers and classmates. The top half of the second building should be finished soon for the kinder and first graders to move into. Please pray for the students during that transition and for the teachers’ patience. Here are the specifics for each class:
