Our Sponsorship program is what enables the Makarios School in the Dominican Republic to maintain its presence each year. We have 80 kids each year needing sponsorship and that number continues to increase with each year we grow. Through our Sponsorship Program, our school is able to provide a quality education to impoverished children.

How much is it to sponsor a child?
- Full Sponsorship $80/month
- Half Sponsorship $40/month

2 warm meals a day at our school
Clean drinking water
Daily vitamin
Medical care from on-site physician assistant
School uniform (shirts, khaki pants, shoes, socks & uniform)transportation for kids unable to walk to school
School materials for each child
Dominican & Haitian staff salaries
School building maintenance and utilities
Will I receive updates about my Sponsor child?
Yes! You will receive the following information about your sponsor child & the Makarios school:
- Student profile including photograph
- Email when your child is pictured on the Makarios blog
- Christmas card including a photo of your student & a craft from your student
